Tazas Café, a North American style coffee shop opened it’s doors to customers in the Coronado area last week. Tazas, owned by Marnie Macdougall and her husband Michael, who works as a doctor at the Decameron Resort, is the only place in the area where you can get a New York style bagel with cream cheese for $2.75. “We already have a number of requests for Lox, and we are looking at serving bagels with lox very soon.” Says Marnie. “We want to listen to what the community wants, and if we can, we aim to provide”.
With locations in Toronto and Miami, Tazas serves lattes, cappuccinos , a variety of specialty coffees and fresh fruit drinks.
“We use only fresh ingredients in our fruit drinks, and the finest espresso imported from Italy. People are raving about our cappuccinos.” Says Marnie.
Marnie Macdougall Apart from bagels, Tazas serves fruit bowls, muffins, brownies and cakes.
