An exhibition honoring the recent world record making Panama Canal crossing done by 8 powered paraglider fliers from around the world will be held at Multi Plaza Mall starting this Thursday the 22nd of May – until the 1st of June. The event will feature some breath taking photos taken from the air and the ground during the event.

On May 3rd, 8 powered paraglider pilots set out to make history with an ocean-to-ocean crossing over the Panama Canal. Permission was obtained from the Panama Canal Authority to fly over restricted airspace. The permission received will never be granted again.

The flight was made to raise funds for FANLYC, an organization that provides aid for children with Leukemia.
