All proceeds from calendar sales go towards the spaying and neutering of animals. The calendars feature photographs of rescued cats and dogs who have passed through the hands of Spay Panama’s programs. 

Spay Panama was started by volunteers in 2001, to provide affordable spaying and neutering services to low income families, feeders and rescuers. The organization also promotes the adoption of homeless animals.

Sterilizations of dogs and cats are done at the Spay Panama facilities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for a cost of $10 for cats and $20 for a dog. To keep spaying and neutering affordable and available to low income families, Spay Panama looses money on every sterilization done. For this reason, the organization asks people who can afford it, to pay more for the sterilization of their pets when they bring them to Spay Panama. The sterilizations of Panama’s cats and dogs are entirely supported by donations and calendar sales.
