{mosimage} This year round resident of the Panama, Coronado area is in the same family as the European Song Thrush and the American Robin. It is mid brown with a lighter orange-brown breast and yellow beak. It can be seen on the ground and in trees and like most thrushes it bounces on both feet rather than walks. At maturity it is about 25 cm (10 in) and eats fruit and small vertebrates.

This thrush like most thrushes has a variety of songs, the most obvious being the mating song heard Mar - May and is a two note call which it repeats all day. Its more common year round call is a short trill.
